Our newest neice and other California happenings

This weekend we made a whirlwind trip out to California to go visit our family out there for a baby blessing. We hadn't planned on going, but when the moment came(at nearly 11pm!), we were up, packed, and headed out the door in less than an hour! We got there early Sunday morning and headed back home early Monday morning. We spent 20 out of 44 hours in the car travelling!

It was wonderful to see them again, the cousins love getting together! Here are some pics from our day there. They were all ready for church and we went out to the garden to snap some shots. The boys loved making silly faces together. I love the fact that they had matching ties. Garrett got his from his Granny, and I don't know where Z got his from, but they were so thrilled to be matching tie buddies for church! (Z also thought it was funny that Garrett had a pink shirt, to which Garrett would say, "you know, pink is the new black.")Owen and Natalie couldn't stop posing for the camera - they kept asking for more and more pictures of them together!
Here are the two buddies with real faces on - these boys are only three weeks apart and have been best buddies their whole lives.

Here is the sweetie, Jane. She loved posing too and thought it was funny that wanted her to say "picklepuss"
Natalie really loved posing for me! She especially wanted this pose all to herself.
Here is my Tig looking WAY too old. She doesn't look like a little 11 year old to me - she is so beautiful!
There are almost three years difference between these two, but they get along so great all the same.
My darling Emmett - man is he a cutie!
Owen is showing me his moose face
Here is the star of the show - baby Olivia. These pictures were taken Sunday night when she was really sleepy and not really in the mood to play picture time with Aunt Kris! But we still got some good ones all the same.

I love close-ups of baby parts!

She finally just fell asleep on me and I kept on posing her and taking more pics.

Doesn't she have a pretty little face?!
And gorgeous, big blue eyes that really sparkle when she smiles...too bad I wasn't able to catch one of her wide mouth smiles this time! We'll have to try again in July when they come over here to visit Grandma.
