Our Two Weeks in GA - Part One - Meet the characters

Our first installation for this continuing post will be to meet the characters (and boy, they are all characters!!) of our vacation. Some are common faces in our blog, and others we wish were more commonly seen on our blog, but we only get to visit every few years....sadly.

Narrator: Me - enough said.

Emmy - My 21 month old cutie who the dog occasionally wanted to eat, and who went all vacation long with having his scheduled fever cycle!!
Owen - often found sword playing with bamboo stakes and crawling through the doggie door

Garrett - He loved playing in Granny's backyard and had a couple run-ins with the driveway thanks to a skateboard.

Teagan: she spent a lot of time reading books we borrowed from her cousins and hanging out with the narrator

My lovely mom: our hostess for the vacation and the saint who gave us her master bedroom to sleep in while she took the guest room with the overly soft bed
Also pictured - Lucy, the dog (but don't call her that in front of my mom - I don't know what she is, but she isn't a dog): She is the before mentioned d-o-g who often wanted to eat the baby - she didn't like it when he cried.

Jennifer: My wonderful sister who even if I lived next-door to her I could never get enough of, who hosted us at her house even though she was really sick, and came picnicking on a really tough day.

Eli: Jen's oldest, (almost 18) the sword-spinning, karate-doing, college-going, chef-becoming, stud of the family

Naomi: Jen's second in command, 16 going on 26, and absolutely wonderful - she didn't like having her picture taken, so this was the best I could get!
Demitri - the turtle Shai found while we were letterboxing in the mountains, who became an instant best friend for Naomi

Shai: 14 years old, almost a black belt in karate, and 4'10" of pure awesomeness

Noah: a 12 year old cool dude with great hair and perfect personality - fathers, lock up your daughters!

Malachi: 10 years old, loves his MP3 but hates to have his picture taken! Here he is hiding on the roof of the playhouse.

Zeke: the constantly giggling 8 year old - life is so wonderfully funny to him, and he has an infectious laugh!

Mahalie: She may be one of the younger ones at almost 6 years old, but she has spunk to spare and makes sure she isn't overlooked!

Echo: Jen's 18 month old. tail-end cutie with great dimples and smooth dance skills.

Okay, that is it for this part, we'll start on the fun stuff of our trip in the next one!
