Happy Father's Day to any fathers out there reading this! Our kids made their daddy a tie to wear to church. It had Owen's hand on it, with each finger looking like the one of the kids or me. He said it was my little way of perpetually trying to embarrass him:-) But he wore it to church anyways, and the kids were thrilled! We had asked him for some of his ugliest ties because Krispy Kreme was giving away a free dozen donuts if you gave them an ugly tie for Father's Day. This was one he gave us because he thought it looked like a tie you would wear as part of a wedding party, so he never wore it. We took another tie of his that he didn't like to the donut shop last night and got a box of donuts straight off the conveyor belt - nice and hot, nice and ready, just like the commercials advertise! This past week our Primary took the kids to the Provo Temple to walk around the grounds on a sort of Eye Spy hunt, and then they got to talk to the temple president and his wife and ask questions about the temple. They all had to wear church clothes and be reverent while they were there. They all had their pictures taken in front of the temple and then today they made a Father's Day gift for their dads to take home. It was a cute little block that said "I Love to See the Temple" attached to a picture of them at the temple. They are really cute.
Here are some pictures from our trip to the temple.
