Scott graduated from BYU today...not techinically, but physically. He walked today and got his diploma *holder*. Now, after he finishes next semester's two classes, they will mail him his actual diploma. The kids were so excited to be there with him.
The day started out with lots of waiting...so we explored some things...
And we just hung out for a while....
And walked around campus finding fun picture places...
And then poor Scottie just had to stand in line for almost an hour. He started out all alone in his field line, but three other people joined him in his line so he wasn't too lonely.
The ceremony was held in the Smith Fieldhouse and there weren't too many people graduating with him. Maybe 50-60 people from about 8 or 9 different fields of study. The lighting was terrible there, and we weren't allowed to get close enough to get any good pictures, but here he is with some of the students.
He didn't really want to do the whole 'walking' thing, but he knew how important it was for the kids to see him do it. They all took turns wearing the 'smart hat' as they called it!
We are all so proud of our Daddy for sticking through it all!
ps: And to answer the thoughts and questions that just popped up with this last picture: Yes, that is a picture of me STILL pregnant. And yes, I am sure it is not twins.

Congrats Scott!!!! It's a great feeling. What will you do now that you are all grown up?
Congratulations to Scottie!! That is a big deal, he should be really proud!
And as for Sparky...well, the longer he stays in there the bigger guilt trips he'll get from you later in life, so...let's get on it, baby!!
So not cool about the whole graduating thing...that just means it's closer that you'll be leaving and that makes me not happy. I am so glad that you put a picture of you in here Kristina!! You make me smile. Ok since this post is mostly about Scott, I'll give a big shout-out to Scott!!! Congrats!!
