So far this winter, we have had a serious lack of snow.
So we decided to make some of our own and decorate our house with it since we aren't unpacking our Christmas decorations.
We found a website that taught how to make the perfect paper snowflake and after watching that, we found some other sites with templates for different designs and we were off. After trying those, we were confident enough to create our own snowflakes!
My favorite snowflake is this middle one that looks like a Celtic knot pattern - it's one we made up. The one on the right is one Teagan made up and lovingly named it the Cow Utter Flake!
(Some of our personal designs didn't turn out quite as we imagined!)
This picture was taken by Owen. I loved how his view of our flakes was much steeper than mine was!The three older kids have made about 50 snow flakes, Emmett has played with the scraps of those 50 flakes, and Duncan has just marvelled at the new floating white things!
He thinks they are awesome!
