Our garden is finally starting to look like a healthy garden! We have been getting some little things like herbs and lettuce, but our more "hearty" veggies are starting to show themselves.
Here is our first little cucumber of the season... he is destined to one day be part of a delicious batch of bread and butter pickles!
This is one of our experimental plants for this year ~ it is a tomatillo plant. I wanted to try one out, but they only came in a six pack, so we're excited about making lots of green salsa this season!
I didn't know how pretty their flowers were!
And that center part is what will turn into the yummy green tomatillo soon

Love the pictures of the veggies! They all look so healthy. It will be interesting to see how your tomatillas come out! You must have your Grandpa's garden genes!!
