Gratitude 7: Diversity in thought processes

I know they say that each kid is different, but to see it really in action is amazing. Right now my three older kids are working on this year's Reflection contest in the public schools and the theme is "Diversity is..." After looking up the definition in a couple of different dictionaries, these are the pictures they came up with to enter in.
The purple on is Teagan's entry. She used picture letters that she found in pictures of her cousin, our vacation, and household things. (It says 'diversity'. Can you see it?)
Owen liked her idea, so he went around and took pictures of things in his room or around the house. It was fun watching him look around his bedroom for what his toys could be made into.
After looking up so many definitions and illustrations of what diversity means, Garrett decided to paint Teagan and Owen's hands. (I got to hold the black backdrop cloth!) He then added his title to it, but we later found out that he couldn't do that, so the one he submits doesn't have the words on it. It still rocks without them anyways!
